Dr. Ahmad Razlan Yusoff holds a Ph.D. in the area of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, the United Kingdom in 2010. Before that, he was studied B.Eng (Hons) and MSc in the same area from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia in 2000 and 2013. He received a study sponsorship award in his degree, master and Ph.D. study, the best papers in international conferences (IDECON, ICMER, AIGEV), and several medal awards in several local and international exhibitions (Archimedes, MTE, IENA, I-TEX, BIS, MOSTI, and CITReX). He also received a Professional Engineer from Board of Engineers Malaysia, Chartered Engineer from I-MechE, UK, the best UMP supervisor award (Engineering category), UMP excellent service award (2006, 2013, 2017, 2018), Cendekia Bitara (2011, 2015, 2016, 2017), and UMP community figure award (2016). He joined the University of Sheffield as a Ph.D. student and researcher where he participated in 3 ESPRC grants (UK). At present, he is a professor, UMP senate member and deputy dean of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies and former deputy dean of academics and research in the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Pahang, Malaysia. He received several research grants as a leader including national research grants such as FRGS(2), PRGS(1), MTUN(2), and E-Science(1) with an amount of RM1.023 mil (USD206,000). Dr. Razlan has graduated 4 Ph.D. students, 10 master students, and more than 55 final year project students, now actively supervised 5 Ph.D. students and has published 10 books, 85 journals, and 65 conference papers in several conferences.
