Mushtaq T. Al-Asadi
Mushtaq T. Al-Asadi has received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK. His main research interests are computational fluid dynamics, numerical-experimental fundamentals & advanced heat transfer aspects, instrumentation design/development, and high-speed fluid flow. Currently, his main research is in thermal management of electric vehicle battery, multi-fluids /multi-phase systems, macroscale and nanoscale systems, renewable energy, and energy combustion studies. He has been granted the researcher excellence award presented by the Minister of higher education at UCL, the UK for his publications. Moreover, Al-Asadi has valuable experience as a reviewer in many High-Quality standard journals for more than 10 years. He is one of the Editorial team in different international journals such as of Thermal Science and Engineering Journal and Al-Qadisiyah Journal for Engineering Sciences. Al-Asadi has been teaching different modules at various universities since 2013, currently, he is a co-supervise of master students at overseas universities such as the University of Leeds and Coventry university. Further to his academic qualifications, Al-Asadi has considerable experience of 16 years in the industry led to grant him a high position as the head of engineering audit section, business development department at Basra Oil Company, Iraq. The experience in the academic and industrial fields of Al-Asadi has resulted in many high-quality publications and industrial solutions.
